Keyboard Maestro Tips 1
This is the sequel to our Keyboard Maestro review I did recently. It turns out Keyboard Maestro is so useful, that I made another screencast about it. (And I’m already planning even another one on using Keyboard Maestro) Because it’s just sooo useful.
So here’s a little breakdown on Keyboard Maestro‘s feature set:
- Trigger Macro’s in Keyboard Maestro via: Hot key, typed string, applications, login, time, wake, Macro Palette, status menu, public web, device key, MIDI note
- Macro Actions can be: Process control; interface control; control iTunes; control QuickTime player; control system; open files, folders, URLs; execute scripts (Applescript, Shell, Automator Workflow); insert text; control the clipboard; activate programs, windows, etc.; Growl messages, system beeps, etc.
Things Shown in This Screencast
In this screencast I’ll show how we, easily, can get rid off some menubar icons and optimize some of our day-to-day workflows using Keyboard Maestro
- Fast User Switch
- iTunes
- iTunes remote
- Current iTunes track
- Toggle Bluetooth
After this screencast you can remove the Fast User Switch icon and Bluetooth from the menubar. As well as having a brandnew shiny iPhone iTunes controller which interacts with Growl.
