Yojimbo Review (+ Free License Giveaway)

Yojimbo is basically a note taking application. It has special features to help you to keep all the things needed to be remembered somewhere save in one place.
Some of those features are:

• Drop Dock: Allows to easily drop stuff in your digital “brain”
• Quick Input Panel: Activated with a shortcut the Quick Input Panel searches your clipboard and with the click of a button that information is been put into Yojimbo‘s database
• A smart searching algorithm scans the clipboard and figures what type of information you’d like to insert into Yojimbo. This allows you to instantly create serial number or note entries.
• Enctrypt Notes: Notes can be encrypted with a password.
• Collections and Tag Collections: Collections are used to group belonging items together. Tag Collections are similar but these allow you to group items by tags.

   Ich finde das Drop Dock am Bildschirmrand einfach super genial! Es stört nicht und ist doch jederzeit da, wenn man es benötigt! Würde mich sehr über einen Gewinn freuen!!

   Ich finde geil, dass man auch sachen verschlüsseln kann, wenn es wichtige sind :) Dass würd ich auchgerne haben :)

   I love the ability to drag snippets of text directly into the drop dock, I also like the tagging capabilities, its ability to store serials, and login information, and the ease of exporting information.

   Ich liebe die Fähigkeit, Textauszüge, direkt in die Drop-Dock zu ziehen, ich mag auch die Tagging-Funktionen, seine Fähigkeit, zu speichern Reihen, und Login-Informationen und die Leichtigkeit, der Export von Informationen.

   I really like the one-place-to-store-it-all approach of Yojimbo. Only the UI could be a little bit more polished IMHO. Anyway cool app …

   Mir gefällt es sehr, daß ich so verschiedenste Informationen (Bookmarks, Images, Notizen, Textauszüge usw.) in einer Application sammeln und verwalten kann. Daher finde ich das Drop Dock und das Tag Collections Feature besonders gut. Ein echt tolles Programm gesammlte Daten auf dem Rechner ordentlich zu organisieren. So was habe ich schon lange gesucht. Danke für die Review.

   Das DropDock und die Fähigkeit bei kopierten Auszügen selbstständig den “Typ” zu erkennen…einfach Hitverdächtig. Die schnelle Verschlüsselung (für z.B. Seriennummern etc.) ist ebenfalls eine durchdachte Sache.

   …muss man haben :-)

    Durch die Verschlüsslung ist es eine alternative für 1Password, um Serials zu verwalten.

    Drop Dock und Quick Input Panel sind meine Lieblingsfeatures. Aber auch der Tag Explorer ist ganz nett um Sachen zu finden.

    Am besten finde ich, dass man einfach alles reinschmeissen kann und sich danach nicht mehr drum kümmern muss. Die Suche ist super :)

    Ich finde das QuickInput Panel genial, weil es mir ermöglicht sehr schnell einen Gedanken als Notiz festzuhalten. Außerdem gefällt mir das Tagging sehr gut, welches nicht nur durch Texteingabe möglich ist, sondern auch durch draggen auf eine SmartGroup. Nifty! Gruß Pepi
